kifaru is releasing new backpacks.

That's a nice looking line-up for the "hard-use, drag-my-pack-through-rocks and talus" crowd.

I'll be interested to see the published weights as well as street prices (though i'm not in the market right now...).

That Xing looks great. Been eyeing an m/express, but also liked the spike camp legacy for the 22" stays. Not sure how I feel about the front panel/top loading on the Xing versus the bottom/top loading of the express, still undecided. Would like to see a non-molle version of it as well. Some Kifaru is on the list come tax return time.
 
Ordered Xing.. ye, was also hoping for close outs, but dont see gen 3 released any time soon..

after looking at the specs i ended up ordering a molle express instead - the length of the stays was the main deciding factor. i like the loco the best out of the new packs but the stays is just way too short for me...should be here this thursday :)

good luck on the 3 month wait...and i thought 6 weeks was bad!

will do :) right off the bat i'm already not liking the 21" stays though (too short to give any shoulder lift for me given the pack's capacity and load rating) and how the shoulder straps connect to the pack (via metal bars and webbing instead of just directly sewn in)...i guess i don't like the omni suspension in general compared to the wraptech suspension (my zxr and ku3700) and up. i already know this will be the first time i'll have lots to complain about in a kifaru product :eek:

Those are pretty sweet looking! I believe I'll wait until the rush dies down and look at getting a Zippy. I'm liking the looks of that pack!
