Thinking about picking one up. How comfy are they with some weight? Also, does the pack pull away at the top when walking or do the shoulder straps actually pull it tight to the back? Do they come with the shoulder straps?

Not my first kifaru, as I have the Zulu and Molle express, just looking for some honest opinions.

The shoulder straps come standard but the Omni belt does not. When worn correctly everything fits snuggly against the back. They are about the best pack for a day hike since you won't get a sweaty back like a normal pack can. I feel they handle weight very well for its size.

The pack will pull itself away from the top when not using the Omni belt. There are mods to fix that problem but honestly when I was using it for an edc bag I felt the long shoulder straps got in the way. My uses are as hiking pack and not an urban bag.

Thanks for the input. I'll probably be ordering one soon. I would also like to use it for hunting since I usually don't need to bring that much gear with. I'm glad to hear the pack stays in place on the back bear the top of the pack. That was one of my biggest concerns.
