Another Kung Fu sharpening fool.....

I took the suggestions from the previous threads about sharpening, came up with my own style using a large ceramic rod and cardboard as a strop and Ki Yah! every knife I own now shaves with just a touch. My BM 550 is scary!

Thanks to all for your input from the previous series of threads...

"Honor in all you do..."

Um ... not to hijack the thread, but ... kiya is the Japanese word for shout. No one actually shouts "Kiya!" -- that would be like Americans shouting "Shout!" ...

Ahem ... remember ...

The Beatles said:

Wasn't it the Eisley Brothers first? The Beatles did a cover, but the song came from America. Motown or Philly IIRC

For knife content ... You know you make me want to STROP!

Rob

Right you are, old chaps.

Plenty of American bands played it too, and plenty of Americans shouted "shout!" at the appropriate parts of the song.

I'm not sure who wrote it, or who performed it first.
