GREAT movie - pretty elaborate (for Hollywood anyway) blade work in the first few minutes, check out Uma Thurman with her double edged Cold Steel in a reverse grip, throwing down with Vivica Fox and her 8" chef's knife.

A better knife movie than The Hunted IMO, and one of the better movies to come down the pike in awhile. Ultra violent so leave the kiddies at home.

And if you like Japanese swords and Samurai stuff, this is your flick. More quarts of blood and flying body parts than you can count.

Uma Thurman is dead on as a vengeful warrior-assassin, riding around in a pickup with "Pussy Mobile" painted on the tailgate.

Good sh*t.

I just saw this today and I thought that Japanese blade lovers will like this movie. I checked out Lucy Liu's traditional tanto. It was really nice. The movie even features a Buck 110 that Uma Thurman takes from a good old boy that tried to rape her. I sure hated that Vivica Fox died so soon. It might not make a difference since so much of the movie is flashbacks. She'll probably be in Kill Bill Vol. II.
