So there seems to be an issue with the Kill Devil Sniper Hawk........the issue being, where is the love?!? There has been several on the exchange lately and other than that they seem to get very little attention anymore. Maybe I'm missing something, but the KDSH is one bad ass piece of tool/kit/ whatever you want in a edged weapon or tool or what ever you want to call it.

Can I get a little "woo, woo" for the KDSH design??? Love my devil!

I love my KDSH. It is always in my truck.

Here is a pic of it hanging out by the grill.

Oh hell yes!!!!!! :D

I got one for my car emergency bag, and my wife stole it within 30 minutes of me getting it for her car kit!!! :grumpy:----------:D
So, now we have two KDSH, one for each of us!!!!

I would have one on a heart beat but getting them through Aussie Customs is hit and miss. The hammer back version is OK for here but I don't like them nearly as much.

I've been into tomahawks for quite some time and over the years have gotten more into the aesthetics of the design and how it affects function. When I first saw the KDSH.....I hated it. I thought it was built to look "cool". Rest assured.......it's not. Now that I understand it, it looks cool, but that's because I know more about its capability.

I own a ton of tomahawks from different makers and plenty of different designs. For years I've touted Peter LaGanas (the modern VTAC) tomahawk as the best design and toughest most functional, durable tomahawk available.

I'm not saying it's not, because I have taken the VTAC to hell and back countless times and it's a complete rock. However, I've been abusing and using my KDSH over the past 8 months or so now and I have to say..........this thing does not stop impressing me in its functional design. From throwing to breaching to hammering to batoning (yeah.....I said batoning) to chopping to prying and total edge retention.........this thing is sick.

I've posted a few pics here and there of it in action but will try to do more in the future. In the meantime, any Kill Devil testimonials would be right at home here.

I have the twin to Hindsight's and love it. Keep fighting off the urge to get one with a spike. I'll cave in and do it sooner or later.

I love Hawks ! I've looked at KDSH more than once but I prefer traditional Hawks with wooden handles. I just don't need a hawk of this type. I do like it and can see its uses and see it as a good piece of gear. I may 1 day pick 1 up and I'm sure I will....lol!

I love my KDSH. I have one of the original spike designs without the handle slabs. I wrapped it tight with bike tube and then with 550 cord. That hawk is a demolition beast. I put the spike through countless concrete blocks, bricks... perforated 50 gallon drums, you name it. I laugh at what seems to be a "hawk craze" recently with all these pretty "tactical tomahawks". The KDSH would eat them all for breakfast.

Tried to get one in a trade that didnt work out-Not crazy about its appearance but if you guys like it there must be something to it. . .

I don't think I will...as you can see it took no convincing to get me into 1...lol. It is your fault for adding something new to my list!

I will accept full responsibility for that! It's one of my favorite toys. Whenever I go to the inlaws I will bring it along and process whatever metal I can get my hands on.......it likes wood too, but prefers steel drums, frying pans and car parts! It also is one of those blades that looks better and better the more beat up looking it gets.

I love my as well, only problem for me was the handle shape but a few pieces of hockey tape fixed that.

Beautiful collection Max. Yep......the uglier the Devil gets.....the better she looks. I've got some cinder blocks that have been reportedly running off at the mouth at the inlaws. Guess I'm left with no choice but to take the Devil down there this weekend and set things straight.

I will certainly find no enjoyment doing this, but what needs to be done.....needs to be done.
