Thanks man, it BEGS to be used!!! I wish i was there to chop on your car... But Id give up after an hour, or 5 beers, which ever came first :D

I did get the wrap a little dirty though... Did you happen to start up a paracord wrapping service yet? :D When you do contact me lmao

1311 will be before too long, and that will be the next one going out to play! But i doubt i'll throw that one

Great pic Bro!!! Must of been a big ole tree before she went over. Lot of wood there:thumbup:

Thanks man,

I love the spot! its maybe 30-45 minutes from the house but its so quiet! Id love to go camp there im just worried i might get in a little trouble lmao im not sure whose land it is.... Im not sure if its state land or private property or anything.. I just found a remote looking area on satellite images and then went there lmao. Hopped out the car right off the side of the road and hiked in :)

While i was on the side of the road waiting for the wife to come pick me up a forest ranger drove by and stopped. I just KNEW he was going to give me a hard time, but he simply stopped, asked me what kind of "axe" i had in my hands, told me he liked it and drove off!! Afterwards i thought i should have asked him about the land i was on, but not knowing is sometimes a benefit! If he told me the land was private property i wouldnt return... but since i dont 'KNOW' ill be going back lmao.

Be safe out there. Sometimes private land owners are not very friendly.

Maybe the thing to do is treat it like you wanted to deer hunt on private land. Look for a driveway and go up to house, ask if they wouldn't mind you practicing your "bushcraft/survival skills" at a certain location on their property. That or find some public land and go to town!

I'm not sure how it is in PA, but aren't there some states you can be shot at for trespassing?

Very true. But there were no houses for quite a long distance. I was close to a state park, so i first just assumed it was state land, and there is a good possibility that it was, but i cant say for certain. I made sure to be very far from homes, and a "ticket" would have been worth it for this type of serenity. If i came across a land owner i would happily leave without issues, and i would understand his points as it is his land, but i never seen any signs of human life, much less a land owner. Satellite images show no type of home or building for miles so that was not a big worry for me. A "ticket" was my biggest worry and i assessed that and found it to be worth the risk.

Ill be safe, no worries!

What is this public land you speak of? And the word "public" kind of killed every chance of me wanting to be there :) Have you met the philadelphia "public" ? you wouldnt want to be there either lmao

And i think every state should let you shoot trespassers.... Yet i still find myself looking for serenity anywhere there is nothing stopping me from entering.... I would not jump a fence, i would not go past a posted sign, i would not go within a few HUNDRED yards of ANY type of building/facility/home, but if theres no signs posted, no buildings or fences, and it is just woods... well that was put here for all of man and if i find it i will be there... again and again until someone tells me to stop coming.

I dont litter, i dont cut live trees, And i leave all areas better than i find them. Im doing nothing wrong except crossing an imaginary line.... And every great location on this earth was found by crossing those imaginary lines.

Im not use to this big city life, i grew up in a town of 1000 people, and i dont like crowds at all...... I just have to get away from ALL people sometimes, and a place like Philly there isnt many places to do it. So i have to take my chances....
