FYI, I posted a thread over in the Swamp Rat forum on how to wrap the handle of the new military overrun Kill Devil Sniper Hawks. These things are pretty SWEET!!! :D :cool: :thumbup:

They were available in a Ganza (similar to what other makers refer to as a "virtual" show, or sale. This event has already passed, but what I suggest is to call Busse Combat and ask them if they have a stand by list for possible cancellations... You might get lucky, but no guarantees. The other option is to haunt the Busse/Swamp Rat/ Scrap Yard Exchange sub-forum and try to snag one put up for sale by another member.

And yet another option is to order the regular version of the Kill Devil Sniper Hawk currently available here ----> http://shop.swampratknives.com/ -----> Under the 'Company Store' tab. These, I believe are still in the pre-order stage, and you aren't usually billed until they are within a week to 10 days from ready to ship it out. :)

How much were the military over runs going for?

And how do you spot/find the "Ganza"? Is/was there a link? Just trying to learn so I can find the next one.
 
Did you wet the cord prior to wrapping as directed? Not enough tension? Too many wraps? Short of not starting with 20' of cord, those are the top 3 reasons I can think of that you might have come up short at the end. Sorry to hear that. I wrapped 3 and they all turned out the same.
