I was finally able to snag one of these off the exchange. This has been a "Grail" hawk of mine for quite some time now. I've always been interested in the Swamps SR101 and their highly reputable heat treating process.

I just received this last night so I've not really had time to do much with it, but I really couldn't wait, so I had to at least see how it would fair against a 3/16 inch frying pan until I can get out this weekend. (Asking for forgiveness is easier than asking for permission.......so with the wife gone seeing family for the weekend.......I will break the news to her Sunday. Hell.....the pan was old and we need a new one anyway.......who am I kidding.......the stupid pan probably had it coming anyway).

After the KDSH tore the pan up, it was still able to easily slice free hanging paper. No dents, chips or rolls.

I have to make a few different posts for the pics for some reason. IPad is acting up. Anyway........

Teflon is bad for you anyway (or so says the internet). Nice hawk. I have one without the spike and am a big fan of SR101.

What's the alternative?? Give divorce papers to a man who chops up house hold items with a tomahawk?? Lol!!

In my defense.....we moved about 8 or so months ago from the country with no neighbors and plenty of land with complete privacy to apartment living in a big city for a temporary amount of time. She's a little understanding of my obsession with edged weapons and the need to sew my cutting and chopping oats. For that I'm thankful for.

For all the tomahawks....kukris and Japanese swords hanging on the walls in our bedroom because we no longer have the room in our house to display my baby's....she is not thankful for.....lol!
