It took all of 20 minutes to bring this monster down. Im blown away every time I take my KDSH out to beat on. It bites deep, hard and fast. Love me some Kill Devil!!!

Excellent pics! How is the cord wrap? When I do anything heavy its gotta have Res-C

I wouldn't want anything but a cord wrap on my Devil. Any other blade......I don't like a wrap, but on the Kill Devil it's perfect. You would be surprised how well it works for chopping......no hot spots (at least within reason after extended chopping). It's also easy to throw and pry with using a wrap........plus in a bind......extra cord is always nice!

Nice work, but I presume you mean 30" circumference. If that tree is 30" in diammeter, your KDSH is a lot bigger than mine ;-)

I will add this.......I don't know if anyone has gone through some of my earlier posts regrading tomahawks......but I own quite a few "breaching/defense" type Hawks. I have tested many different brands quite extensively......sometimes to failure.

In no uncertain terms will I say that the Kill Devil is by far and away one of the best designs and most durable Hawks I have ever used. This was not designed to look cool........a pitfall many blades designs fall into. Style over substance. The Kill Devil is pure function driven. It excels in many applications.

After beating on the Devil for as long as I have now........I'm still blown away on how deep it bites and retains an edge for a tomahawk that can equally rip through concrete and steel. Amazing hawk.

I completely agree with the KDSH!! The only hawk I have used that rivals it is the full size Shrike but then again look at the price difference of the two.

Great hawk. Picked up one last year and reprofiled it to a shaving sharp convex edge with the HF 1x30 grinder.
