Kill Devil vs. Excavator muffler...

Any edge damage????????.............Pfft....please.

A little dull...thats it. Ill have to post a few of Scar's brother (yeah I named my devil Scar) tomorrow in the Busse forum. Scars's brother is Ash. As in FAT ASH-1.

As far as the muffler steel.....got to say.....it was pretty tough. Took several strikes to get the spike through each time. As soon as I got an opening, as you can see, thats when I started hacking away with the edge. As a comparison to the toughness of the muffler steel.......I would say its by far and away thicker and harder than a cars hood. Any thicker and I would say it would be pointless trying to penetrate.

Another fun time with my precious steel!

Nice It looks pretty thick-watch out for those heavy duty teflon coated frying pans as well-they are tuff. I defeated one with my Shrike a while back but it took to keeness off the spike.

I know I took a long break from the Tomahawk forum but it's dying without you-the axes and shovel threads are kicking our @#$'es -How about cut and pasting this thread there as well.

Thanks brother. Ive noticed that in that forum and Ive kinda slipped off board as well. Let me give that a try and see if we can get a few more contemporary hawk enthusiasts chiming in!

Sweet! I've been tempted to do that to every DPF I have encountered. :D

Damn, if you are going to continue to use that Kdsh in that matter, I am going to have to start using mine. Thanks for the adventure pics. 😄

Thanks again guys. I beat the living piss out of the devil and my ASH-1. Those are my go to blades for heavy duty beatings. The devil is easily one of my favorite blades of all time. Not only is it one of the most functional tomahawks I've ever used (yeah I said FUNCTIONAL..........you hear me 95% of contemporary tomahawks out there!?!?!?!?) but its so tough its just plain ridiculous. Love the KDSH!

I love your threads on the Kill Devil, brother. Keep 'em coming!

Have you considered wrapping the handle with leather cordage, instead of paracord? Leather provides a lot of grip, especially when wet, and it also offers a bit of shock absorption. If you use black leather cordage, you'll maintain the tactical look.

It's just a thought, man. Again, keep these threads coming. They're outstanding!

Thanks Kels! I completely plan on the continuation of the devils beatdown! I have not been with it in awhile..... which bothers me. I will try to get some more beatings pics here soon!
