Hey gang, I finally finished the first one!

(I don't have the Boss's permission to put up a pic of the knife, so you get sheath only....and it is a BEAST)

Welted construction and designed to be worn Ghurka style as a cross draw.

Hole pattern will accept other Okuden sheaths as "piggy back".

Can be fitted with Tek Lok, drop loop, drop loop and thigh strap.

I will have the knife available for a bit and have the owner's permission to make more sheaths. If interested, please contact me via e-mail.

Is it a pull out design, no open spine? Will it be made to order as far as wanting a drop-leg or tek-lok?

Yes, it's a pull out. No open spine. It can be ordered with your choice of hanger and will of course allow a thigh strap as well, though as per the original post, I think it's best worn as a cross-draw.

BTW, it also passes my 18" inverted drop test!:eek::D

That looks great. It appears you did it similar to your AK sheaths, where they're more of a scabbard. They are far more labor intensive than a pancake sheath and better suited for a big blade IMO. I love my AK sheath you did for me. Too bad I decided to pass on the Hogzilla otherwise I'd want one for sure.

I just got a Waki in hand yesterday. Sheaths will be forthcoming as fast as I can make 'em. Eric has "dibs" on the first several and they will be available through the company store.

They will be made just like the AK and RUCK sheaths I've done.

I don't understand the difference here. :confused: Maybe it's because I have been putting almost all Kydex into the pancake or taco camps. :p

So, what's up with scabbard vs pancake?
