Ok the KZ 2 is here. It makes me want hack down the remaining trees in the backyard. I told my wife 4 days before the release that I wish Busse would make a Kukri, It being my birthday at the time and I wanted to use some of my B-Day cash towards a solid investment in my family's well being...INFI. and what do I see online, THE KILLA ZILLA 2. I bought it on the spot and started checking the CC online to find the hit. Now it is here and a huge storm is coming my way. But I don't think that my large chunk of INFI will attract lightning so... I am going outside to chop. If you never hear from me again.. I had a good death... Until next time

Cheers.
P.S. My wife does not agree with my purchase but...NO REGRETS HERE!!!

brought the camera, took the pics, made comparisons, resized photos, now I am stuck trying to post them... HELP!!!!

Ok so for scientific purposes I brought my NMSFNO, however I have concluded that someone should, for the sake of science, donate a TTKZ to me so that I, Like Peter, can review the KZ2 properly.

The KZ2 chops well... that being said I need more practice finding the sweet spot. It feels good in the hand but it is harder to use a backhand swing then a more traditional swing. (if that makes sense) I used the NMSFNO in the same manner and due to it being half as heavy and a straight blade it worked better with the backhand swing.

It did do very well in the more traditional swing, slashing downward.
I want to sharpen the KZ2 more like my NMSFNO. But I wanted to see how it performed out of the paper sleeve, so to speak. I am impressed but now my curious nature is taking over. Like I said earlier, I need a TTKZ to make a fair comparison, but I think I also need a Battle Mistress as well to compare the Kukri design to the Ultimate CHOPPER.. So I will be on the look out and probably go into debt very soon.

Hope this came out the way I wanted it too. Drinking and typing doesn't always work out well. But hey, no regrets here...

JD good pics and welcome but Bradford Pears don't count - you missed that in thread 133 page 896 ;)

Rock the Z Mang
