I bought a pig to roast for my wedding. had to slaughter it myself.
I used a .22 to the forehead as suggested by the farmer who raised him, but it didn't go through the skull. luckily I had my 9" jk strapped to my belt. it went through the spine to finish the job the gun couldn't seem to do. stabbed right through the spine at the base of the skull, paralysimg him for the bleed out. not my ideal way to slaughter livestock, but it did the job. that's what I get for picking the biggest shoat on the farm (280#). I am in costa rica for a month for my honeymoon, but i'll get y'all the less gruesome pics in may, upon my return stateside.
thanks for making the right tool for a gruesome job john.
