Barrabas74 and I went to a local Glen Burnie, MD pawn shop today on a tip that there were some good knives for sale at good prices. Well that guy was right! First let me say that I have learned that most brick and mortar shops are much more expensive than online dealers. Well not this one. Their prices are equal with and on some models better than online knife shops. These are not used pawned blades. The guy is a knife dealer as well as a pawn guy, so you get new stuff from him. So JP (Barrabas74) and I spotted 2 REKAT Carnivour Cubs, both New In Tube. One was black blade, carbon fiber handled for $119.00 and the other G-10 handled with stone washed blade $94.00. Perfect as the day they were produced. Needless to say we both got one. Carbon fiber for him and G-10 for me. There are mini socoms' there too. Not just elites, but originals dated as early as 98' in tanto as well as clip point with some blades that have T. Mariphone's signature on them, for around $100.00. The owner said he enjoys getting cool knives from different distributers and selling them for great prices. He has all sorts of other great knives from Emerson, Benchmade, Spyderco, Paragon, Etc.. I was just so damn happy to find that REKAT that I had to tell someone this story. I am sure JP will comment as well. Probably that I shouldn't tell everyone in MD where we found such great deals.. LOL :foot: :p

Where is this shop? I'm a union electrician working at Patapsco Waste Water Treatment Plant and Glen Burnie is'nt far away.
