Recommendation? Killian K5 Hawk questions

I was wondering if anybody has info as far as history, value, etc. on the Killian K5 hawks... There isn’t a lot of info out there.
Basically are they worth more or less than the Benchmade version, difference in value for one that’s not used and one that has been stripped of the powdercoat etc., Why did he use light FDE powdercoat of all things? There are a couple on the bay a stripped down used one, and a “new” one... the used/stripped one looks cooler, but obviously going to be worth a lot less. I like the looks of it though. Is there any collector value left in it? any insight?

I dont know a thing about value, but I have one. Its been in my trunk for about ten years. Its overly heavy and has crappy cutting geometry. I believe it was made out of 1095. Its worked well for breaking stuff though. There are way better cutters that dont weigh as much as a boat anchor if you plan on using it for outdoors tasks.

Your membership level does not allow for questions about value.
That said "collector value" is typically based on the item being in new, unused condition. Modifying a <whatever> would decrease its value as a collectible, even if it increases its appeal/perceived value to an individual.
I haven't looked in some time (since I bought mine); but there is some information out there about the k5, and it wasn't terribly difficult to find. That said, I don't know what you are trying to find (other than why that color was chosen, which I don't recall seeing)
