I've heard the Sparks Versa Max is a pretty nice IWB holster. I really like kydex for IWB carry though, I'll probably pick up a Comp-tac Ghurka.
As for why I chose the Tactical Pro, yes it was for the weight savings of the aluminum frame. I have a hard time carrying all steel handguns. I've tried good holsters and belts and just can't get used to the extra weight. I'm not worried about wearing out the aluminum frame. I've been doing a lot of reading over on the 1911forum and it seems that this really isn't an issue. I also like the extras and the looks of the Tactical.
I picked up my Tac Pro yesterday from my dealer so hopefully I'll be able to shoot some rounds through it tomorrow. Next purchase is a few Wilson mags.

I have a TLE/RLII and can't say enough good things about it. If you want to holster it with a light go for a Safariland holster, otherwise milt sparks all the way. I had a pancake style with a screw tension device made and absolutely love it. For concealment go with a tuckable IWB holster. For comfort use a pancake.
