Hi guys!
So I have found a 184 that looks to be pretty sweet...
But it's' missing the sharpening stone.
I am guessing that this isn't a big deal; but can any of you tell me what size stone they shoved in there?
If I buy the knife: I want to know what to shop for.
Thanks!

Are you talking about the sharpening stone that is adhered to the back of the plastic 184 sheath?

Not my picture. borrowed off the internet.

Yup! 😁👍
I wondered if it was a "standard" size; or something unique?

Should be able to measure the recess the sharpening stone sits in. The stone in one of mine measures 2-5/8" x 7/8". A bit hard to tell the thickness but by sticking a razor alongside the
stone on mine I come up with about 1/4". The stone sets up above the sheath by approx 3/16" just as a guess.

I'm betting you can replace that! If the price is good and everything else is good, pull the trigger!

Well I missed your post, Do you want a 184 sheath with an brand new stone FREE. I am loaded with 184 knives and M9 knives. What to shop for? Hang on and let me look I may have all you need for a 184. Pouchs, the one I am thinking of has 2 small pouchs w/ a small compass unless you look in the pommel and a compass is there that would make it a very early 184. There are 2 spikes that if you have them GREAT because I don't, that go on the knife. Post your e - mail and I will reply. In the meantime I will search and do some digging.

This is a little beat up, is because it was fresh from Vietnam It had a 2 inch belt. In the first picture there is a medal and at the bottom was a cross. All of this comes apart to clean. I forgot I do have the original compass that came with it.
