This is a 7" bladed fighter with a blade that is a bit over 5/16" at the tang. It has a flat/convex grind and I forged, ground, and heat treated with the direction of Bill Bagwell. He also told me several great tests to perform to see if it was up to snuff. It passed those with flying colors.

It has an extremely agressive edge...holds it well...and resharpens like a breeze. It has that sticky sharp edge like the Bagwell knives that I own.

The handle is osage and I gave it my now "standard" torch treatment.

Whatcha' think? I love using it...so it is a keeper.

This isn't one of those mystery blades, made out of "Unobtanium" is it? :D

Love the knife, by the way.

Ok, so now he's read all our replies and even addressed one of the questions, but still hasnt divulged the steel used, so it must be a secret.

Well..that's kinda true. I promised not to tell  it just was a combination of the steel, forging, HT, and geometry that was all Bagwell style and it came out like I wanted.

However...I am not trying to make a mystery here....it just ended up being a great knife. No super claims, no super steel....but it is an all around "fieldable" knife. Cuts like my favorite Bagwell.
