Kinda sad of a day, but in the end maybe not so much

So today i have lost something of mine, which is an honest 1st in years, I unfortunately lost my preon 1 somewhere. I had it with me at work around 6. then around 11 after taking the dog out for more training i realized i no longer had it riding in my sheath with my multitool. i also hadn't preformed any strange, out of the ordinary, maneuvers warranting it to become dislodged. it has always rested snug in that sheath side elastic sleeve. Oh well, maybe it will be time to upgrade.

Oh well though, at least i have a BK-9 coming to me in the morning and i have all afternoon to go test it on all these hurricane sandy fallen trees. Hopefully it will be another great day in the woods enabling me to get some good pictures. Maybe the bk-9 will help keep my mind off my recent loss

Sad day indeed!

I hate losing/breaking things. I had a new probe thermometer I bought for work as I left the last one in the Supply Air duct of a building somewhere. 2 days into owning it, it got caught in my tool pouch and the tip snapped clean off. DAMN IT, not my company has to buy me another one
