I adore your dogs! My husband and I have a movie on now and I just showed him this picture. It got an 'awww' out of him too.

PS: Grizzly Creek trailhead was nice! We saw a sweet 100 pound or so black bear running across Rock Creek Road from the mountain side to the creek coming home in the dark.
 
Always a wonderful surprise to see the bears ... and particularly life-affirming ... when you are not asleep, gift-wrapped in a tent!

LOL Yes, that is true!

There were many bear activity signs on and off of Route 12 today. Bear scat all over the place from Lolo on up to the MT/ID border. Lolo Pass. We did not go down the Lochsa on Monday.

Knife related? I wrote about a new fixed blade knife in the BF traditional section.

We made a huge pot of beef and vegetable stew and used our kitchen knives!
