I have carried a Mariner, the standard Rescue model, and now the Rescue 93mm, and given many of these models as gifts. I have recently found the Gunting to be my favorite knife for "non-rescue" purposes, and find the kinetic opening to be nothing short of wonderful, IMHO. Does anyone agree with me on these points? Sal, if there is interest, would Spyderco consider a Rescue with kinetic opening? It seems to me that the R&D would be minimal. I realize that it would compete in the market with the "waved" SARK from Emerson. Thanks

Hi Rex. We've thought about it. Actually have some dwgs. The kinetic opening is still a new concept and I'd like to see some history before making too many models.
