Kinfolks K380

Hi
I have an old, from the 40's I think, steel knife that was my grandfather's. It is a fixed blade knife that he used for hunting. Im sorry I dont have a picture but it is stamped Kinfolks K380. Will you advise some history and perhaps an approximate value? thanks!!

I won't be answering your questions because I don't know either. I just know my father who's 89 owns one he's used since I was a little kid.....and I'm an old coot myself. It's a super knife, the steel is easily sharpened and I've seen him dress a deer all the way to the freezer on one sharpening. I'd like to know something of the history too!
