King Axe

The last one was so much fun, I wanted to post this one. I am a fan of KATCO and I am certain this is one of John King's heads pre KATCO. Thing is, all the examples i have seen said John King Axe or just John King. I cannot find an example to match mine.

Definitely old Maine wedge, overlaid bit. This one is in nice condition.

LOL, I just noticed in the pic what I had seen and forgotten. Looks like something about ...MASS under the KING AXE.


That was another thing that stumped me as John King was in Maine I think. I need to go back and refresh my aged memory.
