OOoooo, a new Forum for Axe Lovers! About time
Have not been to Bladeforums in quite awhile.
Mmmm, Here is a recent axe Kirby made. This had to be done in time for a recent wedding. Since I cannot post attachments, the customer did post this on several other sites to show off, including SFI (linked). We call it "The Wedding Axe". The unmarked opposite side is shown. He wanted a "Grey Metal" finish. Like his description of it.
I rather wonder in what way that axe was used at the wedding, though
Although generally known for his blades, Kirby does makes different kinds of axes including tomahawks. You can find these on his website on this page. Most shown there are Viking style "Bearded Axes" since they are so popular but he is not limited to any one era. Or blade style.
