My CS Kiridashi just arrived, and it is amazing! At first inspection, it was hard to believe that it had a Tri-Ad lock because it closes so easily. It has the slickest working Tri-Ad locking mechanism that I've ever had, and I have quite a few in my collection. The knife came razor sharp out of the box with no flaws with fit and finish. I'm usually not a fan of small knives, but this one will rapidly become a favorite.

the kiridashi is awesome, i think it will become really popular once more people know about it. if you like the kiridashi i think you will also like the cold steel tuff lite, it also has a triad lock and makes a good, cheap edc that is also reliable.

I tried one but I found the handle to be uncomfortable with some hot spots. Maybe it was just that particular one.

I'd love to try one of those out, will be on the look out for them, seems they are out of stock right now.

The Kiridashi looks like a very utilitarian design. I'm glad the knife lives up to expectations. I would be sorely tempted to round off that angle at the spine if I had one.

Mine arrived today, definitely want the thumbstud removed, it was tricky to do as it looks like they used red loctite and the screw slot is quite shallow, ended up using two vise clamp pliers to take it apart. But the blade is high enough that you can pinch grip the blade and push the handle away with my middle finger and it opens easily.

Liking it, I was worried the abrupt angle would be a hindrance but it plays well, the edge is quite thick behind the bevel so I will be softening those shoulders on the edge bevel to allow it to cut a little smoother, but overall, nice

Edited to add that tonight I took it apart, saw it had bronze washers along with some teflon ones as well, one thing I do to help the lock bar work smoother is to round off the end of the back spring so instead of being such a crisp cut off end of steel, it has a smooth radius to ride along the bottom of the lock bar as you depress it to unlock the folder, it had that biting into kind of sound when she arrived, but now is pretty smooth operating lock now.
