These first three are sold... more coming very soon!

Materials Used

5160 Steel
Coyote Brown Paracord
West System Epoxy
Kydex and Removable Fasteners for the Sheath

Details

Roughly 6" long, 1" tall and 1/4" thick
Rounded and Textured Spine - for grip and comfort
Satin Finished Flat Chisel Grind - small bevel on opposing side for easy sharpening
Forge Finished and Textured Flats - Helps hold oil, resist rust and has a good grip - Very Tough
They come with a black Kydex Sheath (in photos) with removable hardware for ease of cleaning
West System Epoxy soaked doubled cord wrap for durability - permanent, lightweight, grippy and comfortable

These come with a few feet of paracord for necker/lanyard/survival/static cord use

I did the heat treat myself as always with my digitally controlled kilns, engineered quenching oil and a 2.5 hour double temper. These are around 59/60 Rockwell for the best of toughness and edge holding.

$85 shipped - I prefer Paypal for payment - my email and paypal email is danielfairlyknives at gmail dot com

I ship insured US priority mail - International shipping is extra - I ship about once a week

Please say "I'll take it" here to avoid confusion, I have 3 ready and will have a few more later. Just ask if you have any questions! :)

Jason,

Sounds great! Please email me at danielfairlyknives at gmail dot com or send paypal that way and I'll have you taken care of. Thanks!

Nice price... these are work horses...

Chainsaw, check!

By the way, if anyone wants a non glare finish on the flats I can easily do that with a patina or cold blueing.

Just let me know...

Daniel, do you have a pic of the 2 that are still available? Or are they exactly the same?

I'm going to try for more photos today, these are all sold but I have a few more completed that I need photos of.

If I recall correctly I have a couple more just like these, a red one, a W2 one that is shorter with a black wrap, 2 shorter ones in coyote/earth brown like these... will try for photos of all. They all have the same grind and pommel.

Thanks!

What ever happened to those 15n20 dashis?

I profiled them when I was waiting for belts and am still trying to get caught up on the other knives I profiled at the time. I can't wait to get to a few of them, I will keep one for myself to carry in the car.

15n20 is a performer and that is why I chose that steel but it comes with a lot of scratches and divots to grind out. I am also hoping to get a magnet or better way to work on the flats as they are just tough to hold to the grinder.

I am finishing my A2 batch (waiting on 2000 grit belts for full mirror on one) also halfways through my S7 batch and still need a ton of photos of these. I'm also hoping to finish a few TBOK's that I have started, get damascus for more kiridashis and more... After that I have plans for a bunch more! :D
