I thought I'd post a few pics of My latest kitchen knife.

10" long, cpm154cm, traditional single bevel with burl and buffalo, octagon shaped handle

IMO, it is a very, very fine effort!

Only negative is that I prefer the buffalo horn that looks like black plastic, without any figure at all, but that is a personal issue.

yes, cali buckeye..people really seem to like the ivory/grey colors:)


Steven...funny you said that, I actually have some that looks like black plastic. Oddly, most of the cefs I deal with like highly figured black- or honey/cream colored horn that seems to be as elusive to find as unicorn horn :(

If you make friends with the Italians, they use a massive amount of honey horn in their autos....Go to SHOT next year, you need to go anyway, before things get shut down hard.
