Thanks for pointing me to the Sodbuster design. One of the knives that I decided to go with was the KC-0035 Sodbuster- a nice staple of the Kissing Crane line. The price was not that bad, new it fell into my price range, and the wood scales are beautifully finished giving it a look that the synthetic Case's couldn't match. The blade profile is excellent. On the various gun sites I visit, a common topic is "What gun would you keep if you could keep just one?" If I could keep just one of my folders- this would b it. The backspring on this baby is so much better than I could have ever concieved. I have a lot of slipjoints- new and old- and this one is better than all of them. The grip is big enough for a comfortable whole hand grip. The only problem is the brass liner is a little sloppy at points, but from a working knife liek this, that's a minimal point.

I have one of those, and a friend saw it and ordered one, too. It's a good knife at a great price.

I have several sodbusters, and the KC is by far my favorite. You really cannot beat it.
