Kissing Crane stilletos,where are they made?

Germany,Italy or China?How do I know the difference.I know that KC knives are made in China nowadays, but stiletto models used to be made in Italy and was wondering if that's still the case.They were supposedly made by Falcon.

Depends upon which era. From what I've read, older ones were made in Italy but branded Germany. Newer ones are made in China. I don't know how to tell the difference other than if it's new and on a current site, it's made in China. I have an old one, 1990 or so, it's a nice toy but the steel is soft and the flat grind is thick.

I ordered few Rite Edge large stilettos,theyre very cheap and plan to modfy them.Theyre all solid stainless steel and according to few members here excellent bang for buck.I found older NIB Kissing Crane and will probably get it.Thick grind is ok,as I regrind most of my knives anyways.
