Hi everyone. My oldest (10) came home from Blade with a small Kissing Crane toothpick. He'd gone to the show looking for a thin blade, and decided that's what he wanted.
I've never had a Kissing Crane before, so I didn't know much about them. Looked up a few on the internet, and the stamps on this one are a little different from the ones you mostly see. I was wondering if anybody could tell me anything about its genesis.
The side with the nail nick has a stamp of the 2 cranes, with R.KLAAS below that, and SINCE 1834 below that. The other side has the model number KC6124BR, and STAINLESS. The new images (like at AG Russel) have the text arranged differently, arched over the cranes, etc.
Anyway, I was wondering if anybody could tell me anything about this particular one. Thanks.
