Kit builders - which would you prefer?

1. What design would appeal to you:

2. If you had your choice of blade materials, would you prefer:

3. Would you like:

a) solid handle (hidden tang)
b) scales (full tang)

4. Would you prefer your handle to be:

5. How much would you expect to pay:

6. What else is important to you?
 
Thisis an interesting question as I am looking to do a nice kit.
1.A design that I could help do would be neat.
2.I like a stainless steel...
3.Scales/ full tang
4.Micarta, G10, stag, any is fine.
5.Whatever it costs.
6.Service

Right now I'm looking into doing a Scandinavian kit. You could get a scale tang blade and change the handle shape to your own design.
Depending on what the knife is going to be used for would dictate carbon or stainless. Wood handles, a lot to choose from here. Bocote is very nice. And wood is very easy to work with.

Well, I would like to see folder kits! Also, I like High carb blades for some stuff, stainless for others, depending on the usage. Full tang preferably, handle material, i like to supply myself. i would like to be able to design some, and also some standard ones would be nice!

I'd be interested in discussing design ideas if you're interested. Can't promise where it'll go, but it might be an interesting exercise.
