I call this one the "AC/DC knife". you know, BAK in black (carbon fiber)

Picked this up from Kit at Blade. This heavy duty folder is built like a tank. 5" S90V blade, thick ti liners, and contoured carbon fiber scales. Yet, it doesn't feel as heavy as you think it is. Another awesome folder from Kit

What can you say, its from Carson's shop. I would probably call it a KATN folder though -Kick A** Take Names

The pivot bolt style is different - looks like it would need a special tool to unlock - something new? Looks cool, BTW... Love those contored handles.

You don't know what BAK stands for?

(helpful hint, B is for big, K is for knife)

It carries like a much smaller knife than it is, and has a Clark Kent-like appearance till you open it up.

Interesting to note the differences in blade grind and handle design.

Love it! I think it's a better design than sas's, (though I like sas's also), just never been a big false edge fan. What can you say though? S90V and CF, YES!!!

sas - I have long known what it stands for

Very original name!

I think the reason why Kit ground mine differently is that he knows I'm not a big fan of false edges. I have a M16A1 with the same type grind that's on my BAK.

Didn't know why he didn't put grooves in the CF, but I think it looks a bit cleaner without.

I think the grooves are on there because the handles are flat, though Kit would be the one with the ultimate answer to that. The sculpted handles are really nice--the flat handles MIGHT make for easier pocket carry. Of course, nobody offered me a choice

but I'm happy with mine.
