Anybody here by any chance just recently purchased the new Kit Carson model folder with the iron wood handles and coping blade at Arizona Custom Knives? I was going to get that but somebody, maybe you, purchased it. So I got the same model but with carbon fiber handles. Please let me know.

davidb415, so it was you?!?!?! I wanted that but they told me it was sold. So I got the Carbon Fiber handled one. It's very cool, I already have mine. Let me know what you think when you get it. The liner lock lock on mine is very strong. Do you know how many of these new models Kit Carson has made? well take care and happy thanks giving.

I've made about 25 of them. Need a model number for it, I guess. Should be the Model 24.
Glad you guys like it. The local customers love it.
The point is called a coping point, from an old woodworkers blade. Great working knife.
Keep me posted on how it works for you.

I have the Ironwood Coping blade in my pocket as I am writing this.Kit, you have outdone yourself once again! The linerlock and overall finish are up to your usual high standards, but the woodwork on the scales and spacer is amazing! The parting lines and radiusing are perfect. I hope this is a trend and you will do more with wood scales.
How about a large model 4 ,drop point talonite with the same wood handles?
That is a knife I would give up major internal organs for.

Wow,

That is one great looking Model 4 Kelly!

Of course I am a sucker for Buckeye Burl and for Carson knives (M16 or M4)
