I kid Kit a lot. In truth he has taken many people under his wing in the short time I have known him. It would be difficult to improve Kit as a choice for the Watson award. (He is going to be pestered by me in the near future to make something he wants to get carried away with and not have a deadline on. (Call me a fool since that just means I trust him

)

At the same time I have known you (Darrel) a few years longer than Kit. I have forgotten how many classes you have taught during that time and how many hammerins where you have instructed. (And I would be willing to bet that you have forgotten exactly how many too

)

Now that I have embarrassed both of you,
have they ever given it to two makers in one year?

I couldn't agree more Darrell. Kit is definately a rare breed.I've learned alot from Kit also. He never seems to tire from the countless questions .Hell I'd vote for him to be president.
What do you say Kit should I start making "Kit Carson for president" Banners ?

I agree with you all. Kit has never tired of my questions. I even pester him (Hey Kit, remember that time in Pidgeon Forge?). He is always patient and helpful. I can think of no one better to receive the award.

Yup, I also agree, I have never asked Kit a question that he hasnt been glad to answer, but as Gus says, the same thing can be said of Darrel, a dual award would be great!

My interest is not for myself although its an honor to even be mentioned.
If anyone is serious the show is a couple months away. Any takers to solict for Kit?
