I was going through his gallery and some of the M16s and the M18s look the same with the clip point blade. How do they differ? Also, the M21 looks RADICALLY different from the CRKT one

I have an m18 and m16, both in mod. spear blades, did not know they made them in clip blades? Something new?

The m18 I have is a great knife. Has the lawks and the blue g-10 inlays. A strong, well built folder.

Garageboy,
I missed this one first time around.
The tail end of the M16 and M18 are different, and I have made them in flipper and non flipper versions. The M18 just made a nicer platform for a fancier knife.
I agree, the M21 is totally different between mine and the CRKT version. That's ok, though. Both are selling well:)
Visit my album site in my sig and you can see many variations.
Hope this helps and sorry for missing it.
Kit

Thanks Mr Carson. How much is a M18? (On avg for a plain one)
I miss those IRC chats, but the program doesn't work for me

yes sir, those are some gorgeous knives! i especially liked the blade on the "new collab model". and that M18 with the drop point and the (looks like) CF scales? wahoo!

abe m.

Mr. Carson, SIR,

You just HAD to remind me to look through that album and look for the C2O flipper proto, didn't you?

Sigh.

;)

The next collab is more the C2O M26, whereas the previous was the C2O M4. Of course, I want one of those new ones, and a custom one and...:D

Unknown at this time. It might be out in the summer. My GUESS is that it would be close to the C20 M4 price, $400. Maybe more.

And if I didnt really answer your question, a M18 would probably run $500 and up, if you can find one.

I just wish I could get on Mr. Carson's list, since I'm never in a position to be at a show where Mr. Carson MIGHT have a model 4 for sale :( :o !

Sincerely,
Anthony

P.S. I think if we're willing to wait 5 years for a Randall, 4 years for one of Mr. Carson's knives is more than reasonable.
