Word is out that a Kitchen Cleaver was just finished today. Did someone say full convex with zero edge??????? This one is

Scary sharp. :thumbup: I'd love one of those for the kitchen but what if the little lady of the house gets mad one day and ...:eek:
 
That is a beautiful cleaver. I gotta ask. Why 440c and not one of the more popular "chopper" tool steels like 3V, A2, etc?

Because it is a kitchen tool and not a wood chopper. AEB-L is now my steel of choice for most kitchen tools. I usually prefer steel with good corrosion resistance for kitchen cutlery for ease of maintenance.
