So, I sold a knife to sitflyer a little while ago only to find a return package in the mail almost the same day I shipped it out, inside I found this spectacular JK kitchen style knife blank with a letter from the generous man himself.

needless to say i was a little taken aback!

I have tried to do it some justice with Amendoin (from Andy, thanks Andy!) and spattered maple with brass pins. unfortunately I don't believe i can make a sheath this size for it :p:

I like the way the Amendoin came out on that handle -

So is the knife going back to Duane?

It sure is a great looking knife!

I saw you post that on facebook, and was thoroughly impressed with both the blade and handle work.

Very nice!

Thanks guys, actually, i don't know what to do with it now, Doesn't feel right to keep it or sell it, too much, and it's a gift, but my plan to send it back to him feels like returning a gift which is also bad, so...

first world problems, right :)
