Very nice. What is the circumference of the handle at it's widest point and it's narrowest point? How wide is the blade near the ricasso? Has the wood been treated at all?

Hey man,
The handle is .77 thick at its widest and is .39 at the ricasso.
Its 1.09 wide at the widest and .85 at the choil
The blade is 1.88 wide at the ricasso
The handle has been treated with oil, buffed and waxed. Lignum is extremely dense so it didn't take much oil.

I'll take it.

This one will get used almost every day. Time to chop some kale, slice some potatoes, and mince some cilantro.

I like that a lot. It woulda been mine if I knew my gf would take care of it, but she can get our stainless knives to rust pretty easily.

That turned out very nice. The blade and handle profile look very comfortable.

Chris, really like the grain pattern & the blade finish. Looks like something my grandma would have had in her kitchen arsenal . . . . :)
Excellent work buddy . . .
Be safe.

I really dig that nice radius at the heel. I'm amazed at how many big name makers and manufacturers leave a 90 or nearly a 90* angle right there. I bet that blade slices well!
