My father in law has been bugging me for months to find a particular knife that he once had seen, but cannot find.

I have looked high and low, near and far and cannot find any info about this knife. See the scan, I am sure it is familiar to some of you.

The knife is a single piece of steel with a wood handle riveted to the part of the steel above the hole cut-out for your hand.

Any info appreciated.

architect: sweet. Have to make myself one like that. thanks for the idea, I've never seen anything like that before.

What are the size specs on it?

Dude, we just discussed those in Mr. Levine's forum. Run a search in the three months there.

Are they still available? I bought one of those for my ex years ago (before we split up). I know she's still got it. Not bad on a cutting board but I never liked it on a roast or turkey.

Here's the link for Heritage Cuisine Knife?

Thanks guys.

I'll guess he will just have to make one, or spend a few years trawling through every garage sale on the East Coast!:p
