Kitchen knife pictures

Yeah, okay so I was bored and s'posed to be doing other things. Knife pictures are always a valid excuse to avoid cleaning. Right?

Anyhow, I took a bunch, but most of them weren't worth a d*mn. I figure I'd post a couple good ones and y'all can tell me what a poor knife photographer I am. But I'm a good cook.

And if you want to know the particulars about any of them, just ask. I'm thinking of taking more close-ups and another picture or two to get a better view.

I like the two big buggers in the middle, the ones above and below the one with the weird blade.

The second from the top is interesting, what do you use it for?

That oddly-shaped blade is just the result of a bad sharpening job, near as I can tell. It's really a pity, because the steel is excellent, in terms of edge-holding.
