Here are the specs and pricing for the Kitchen Knife Series.

Kitchen Utility. 9 1/2" overall, 5" blade of 1/16" thick O1. $135.00

Paring Knife. This one is 7 1/4" overall, with a 3" blade, 1/2" tall, and 1/16" thick. Add a sheath to this and it would make a great knife for panfish or small game. $95.00

Or buy them as a set for $220.00

I am looking forward to playing with this set. And this is VERY competitive pricing, IMHO.

I keep looking at the Kitchen Utility, and think it would make a great hunter with thicker blade stock. If these catch on, I may do that! So far there is very little interest, I`m hoping the passaround and reviews might change that.

HI Stomper -

Give it a little time.

I think they are superb, and priced very fairly.

I will add the prices to my reviews if that is ok with you.

best regards -

This was a deal and a half - I wonder why nobody ever ordered a set??

JK- These are great knives! Why haven't these been flying off the shelves of your workshop?
Would you be willing to do the Paring knife with tubes instead of pins and a blade that's the full width of the handle where it meets the blade? (Kinda like the old Herters knife without the thumb hump :D) I think this configuration along with the spike hawk you made me would be just about perfect in the woods. I was thinking kydex for the sheath, but I can make one easy enough if you don't deal with plastics :)

I just adjusted the pricing for today`s costs (instead of 2010). I can revise the shapes and pins. I do kydex, but sheaths were not included in the prices.

Very nice! I wasn't on the forum in 2010 and hadn't seen these before. Good bump to make them visible.

That could be changing soon :)

I'm trying to decide between these and the Galley Wag to use as a home and camp kitchen knife.

Great looking knives, and great prices for a handmade knife. Knives like these get a lot more use than most fixed blades.
It surprised me to find my favorite utility kitchen knife is a Victorinox Forschner 6" chiefs utility 40570. Check out the design. I really love the offset handle.
Keep up the good work!

The Galley Wag is a great choice, especially in 1/16" thickness. The original JK Kitchen set does not have rounded spines, my Galley Wag has a rounded spine. If I ordered a Kitchen series today, I would ask for rounded spines as my personal preference.

I dig the paring knife and believe I will be ordering one from you but with a modification of a longer blade. can you do one with like a 4.5 inch blade?

Sure can.

I don't remember this the first time around. Where in the world was I?
I love the idea of a long version of that paring knife. That looks fantastic.
