Hi everybody,

Here's a set of kitchen knives I just finished. First work of the year :)

The set includes a Gyuto, Chefs, Nakiri, Petty & a Parer

Steel: White #2 with 22 layer cladding

Handle: Olive and Chacate Preto

Very nice set. Your handles are some of my favorite shapes for kitchen knives that I've seen. And that Hitachi steel is so cool!

Fantastic set of cutlery....[emoji106]

As I would love to have that set Jelle, The handle shape is very comfortable when using.

I have to agree with Salem, the handle shape looks premium. Not into kitchen knives myself, but I really wouldn't mind having a set with these handles.

Where are you getting the takefu steel from? I have a bar of the sumigashi for a wedding present set of knives. I see more contrast in yours than I get in my sumigashi blades.

nice work, love laminated steel, keep that core centered :-)

I've purchased all my Suminagashi from Workshop Heaven only
I'm not seeing any difference really from what I have used.
I also etch in FC 3:1 quickly
wondering what you are seeing?

this is a WH Suminagashi

I've been using white vinegar to etch. I like how it shows the carbon migration. I'll have to try ferric chloride on the next ones.
