Kitchen Knife Set

Here is a kitchen knife set that I just finished up. I do not do a lot of these for various reasons but here is a set I made for my wife. 8" chef, 6" chef and pairing knife. Blade steel is ATS34 with a double grind. Edge grind is hand rubbed to 2000 grit. The scales are olive wood.

Those sure look lovely !!!!!! I'll just bet your wife will ask you why you didn't make the handles smaller . Of course, your proportioning in my opinion is as super as the rest of the work you have done on these. Frank
 
Those do look nice I was wondering why the hole was placed where it was and if it is was an aesthetic decision. It looks like a place for food to get caught. Other then that one minor quibble they are lovely.
