Kitchen knife stock

Aldo (Google: New Jersey Steel Baron) you may need to give him a call to see what he has

I'm just about to order some 5160 for a chopper from Aldo the thinnest 440c he had was just over 3/32.

He usually has what you need. Just give him a call in the morning! Aldo is the best IMO

I still have the S35VN. 440C in 1/16th? Hell, if you need it bad enough I can grind down a piece of the 3/32" for you, but I'd rather see you with the S35VN

Sidetrack real quick, Aldo your skinny W2 has been the best steel I have ever worked with. it is dead soft annealed. youve won my business from now on! I'll never buy steel from anyone else again!.

Aldo Bruno, He's your man, If he can't get it, no- one can :D

Seriously, he has your steel. CPM 154 is my personal choice for kitchen knives for what that's worth.

Aldo, I tried to email you but never got anything back. The skinny W2 you have says (.103/.113). I've also seen similar things on other steels you have. Does that mean that the bar thickness varies 10% over the 36"?

Aldo, I tried to email you but never got anything back.
I sent one last week too. probably sitting in a spam box or something. If I dont get a response soon I will call.

Aldo's an e-mail tease.....Kind of like Sam and his hammers......;) Just call. He can't answer e-mails when he's busy talking to those of us that call him....:D

the .103-113 is how thick the sheet might be. theyb are rolled in a stack and some jsut end up a bit lighter or heavyer (like that all round the industry less you get PG steel) so far as flat i have never had a problem with any of aldos steel (even for use on my razors and on folders )
