Kitchen Knife?

'WOW' is pretty lame for something like that, but that's all I can think of. Never seen one like that.

Unbelievable pix. Educational, too. Ariel has his act together... afraid to even ask what $$$...

I don't don't know what that cost but I got a couple of his damascus knives and I thought they were totally reasonable. The cool thing about his knives (I think) Is that he fabricates almost all of the things himself, even homemade micarta. In that same custom knife forum check out the cable damascus knife he made with a handle made out of epoxy coated rope.

I like Ariel's work (what I've seen so far) - got great ideas & he's willing to experiment

I also like that blade shape - especially the integral bolster.

Cold & heavy though.....not my style.

I bet the "holes" in the handle lighten it up a bit....I wonder where the balance is. Would be cool if it was right at the spacer.

I know what you mean. A metal handle seems strange on that beautiful damascus blade. On the other hand probably makes sense on a kitchen knife as far as cleanup and dishwasher.
