Mods if this is in the wrong place, please move.

My wife bought me a Shun Ken Onion Multi Chef's Knife, with a 8 1/4" blade.

I was wondering if anyone has this knife and what they can tell about it. I love the knife, but want to know more if at all possible.

Thanks,

never mind, I found what I was looking for, for the most part. Even found more pictures. Seems like a good knife. Little expensive, but thats ok. I like it no matter what!

They are great knives, but (and this is just me) they are one person knives, I own two Hattori's that I paid a hell of a lot of money for, they are, I think up there with the best. I won't let anybody use them or even wash them, ever!!
Expensive kitchen knives, if you take care of them will last for a life time I love mine!!

Where did you find what you were looking for? Just curious. I have a Shun 8" chef's knife.. I love it too. Wonderful balance! I've also tried their 10". Nice too, but a little heavy for me. In that length I prefer the MAC Professional series, though their Chef's series is much less expensive and I think the blades are probably just as good...

My wife bought the knife for me actually for fathers day. She got it from Williams and Sonoma. For those who like to grill (like I do...:D ) they have a lot of grilling stuff as well.
