I bought about 3 BUCK Kitchen knives quite a few years ago; they have Brown Rubber handles with Buck embedded in them. A
knowledgeable Buck guy I spoke to last night did not know of their existence; I have 3 kinds; a bread knife, big vegetable
knife and this one picured if I can get it to load;

Anyone know when they were made??

dctex, those are of the Moderne' series and we don't see many of them here. I think they were marketed in Europe in 1985-89. Yes, they are made by Buck. DM

(repost) On July 15, 1985, a U.S. federal trademark registration was filed for MODERNE by Buck Knives.
The trademark registration was cancelled by 1993. The handles are Kraton. The flier mentions that they are made of "incomparable steel".

ive slowly filled out my collection of them, but still maybe a 1/3 of the way there.

I don't know what happened to him. However, I really like those Moderne series knives. I especially like those handles because they provide good traction and comfortable use.
