Something always gets in the way of us upgrading our kitchen knives, but I finally hit order and the are on the way! The cheap ones lasted 20 years and breaking quickly.
Went with a few more Spyderco Bow Rivers, have one that excells at a paring and steak knife, just all around utility. I would never again use serrated for cooked steak, this knife showed me that for sure.
Got Case for the bigger blades, Chef 8 inch, Santoku 7 inch, and a bread knife.
Our shears always break, got a pair of Victorinox kitchen shears also.
Magnetic block double sided to display.
I'm unsure if we will need a boning knife, but I'll order later if I think I'm missing anything from here. Piecing it together only gives me 7 pieces, but gives me everything the way I want it.
