Kitchen slicer

Help would be appreciated on an inexpensive slicer. I'm not looking for anything high end, she's very happy with the Swiss Army paring knives & chef's knife. It will also be going through the dishwasher :).
Something stainless that will hold an edge, probably thin as it will only be used (I hope) for slicing roast beef, turkey, etc.

if you can locate one of the discontinued cold steel K5 kitchen knives in vg1, you will be set. i paid 12$ for mine & it's great.
