Here is a set (of 6) that a customer ordered. He also wanted sheaths (with no belt loops) in order to be able to place them in kitchen drawers without them banging against other utensils.

All were made from 154CM with H/T by BOS to 61Rc.

Two have spalted maple burl and four have cocobolo. On the cocobolo blades, he wanted them named. Thanks to Ernie Grospitch for the stencils.

Sure hope he likes 'em.

Robert

Those would keep me in the kitchen! Very nice.

Nice knives man, I'd love to have quality like that in my kitchen.

Robert, that is a very nice set. If the chef's standard is the same as the knife makers he will be preparing some awesome meals!!

Nice set of knives and nicely made sheaths.

If they are to be used, wouldn't a nice wood block serve better than leather for storage?

I think you are right Peter. We first discussed a "display" block, perhaps made of cocobolo. Then, out of the wild blue yonder, he decided he wanted sheaths.

The customer is always right (most of the time:))
